“Tzo Ai was simply incredible! As soon as she started working with us, the stress of planning and organization completely melted away. Tzo Ai was on top of every payment deadline, shared check lists of items she needed feedback from us on, proposed solutions and ideas for challenges, and advised on dos and don’ts for our venue given her extensive knowledge”

“Having our wedding planned by Tzo Ai was an absolute pleasure and honor. We cannot recommend her enough. She was everything we needed and more — calm, thoughtful, reliable, and always ten steps ahead. From our first call to the moment we got into the car after our wedding (with every item already packed in the trunk!), she thought through every detail.”

“My husband and I are very detail-oriented and have high expectations, and she more than met our high bar, leaving nothing to chance. She often answered our questions before we even asked them. When we had some unexpected situations pop up, she handled everything gracefully and with care, going out of her way to make sure we didn't have to worry about anything on our special day. I would recommend Tzo Ai over and over again.”
Nadia and Stu's wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns was the perfect reflection of their understated, elegant style. Having spent time dining at Blue Hill in Manhattan when they lived in the city, they knew they wanted their wedding to feel like a natural extension of the surroundings—minimalist, chic, and entirely in keeping with the aesthetic of the venue.
Sarah and Noah’s wedding was a truly memorable event, set over Thanksgiving weekend at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Their focus was on creating a day that felt personal, meaningful, and seamless for their family and friends. Here’s how we helped bring it all together.
Nestled in the picturesque setting of Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, New York, this intimate fall wedding celebrated the love of a couple committed to creating a personal and memorable day. Embracing the beautiful autumn color palette, the couple’s vision was realized through elegant details that reflected their unique style.
It is always fun chatting with BRIDES about weddings! See our tips below on what to expect in 2025. Thank you to Sarah Schreiber for including me.
It is always an honour to get the opportunity to plan a wedding at an iconic venue like The New York Historical Museum (previously New-York Historical Society).
I had just over four months to help Lara and David plan their intimate wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. The first thing we had to work on quickly was their invitation suite with Bella Figura. We opted for a clean and modern design with a vellum decorated with oversized white flowers.
When they walked into the grand Cipriani 25 Broadway, they knew it was the right place for them. The soaring ceilings, ornate architecture, magnificent inlaid floors and hand painted frescos make it a really special location.
What an incredible experience to use Moment Factory’s video mapping artistry to create different special moments for Anna and Sam’s joyous wedding at Cipriani 25 Broadway. See the video highlight below from Mike Zhu Films.
Blue Hill at Stone Barns was Jia’s dream wedding venue and she knew it from the first time she visited the property. Zach likes to joke that she picked the venue before she picked the guy.
I have been wanting to plan a wedding at Chelsea Square (née Highline Hotel and General Theological Seminary) for a while and finally the stars aligned with Ellie and Joe! The combination of working with an excellent caterer like Events by RHC at a stunning venue like Chelsea Square is this wedding planner’s dream.
A fall wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns is so lovely! Marissa and Vincent were such a delight to work with. They put so much trust in me, the venue and the vendors.
Jia and Zach were married at Blue Hill at Stone Barns on a beautiful fall day! See all the pretty details in Mike Zhu’s film below.
It is the greatest compliment to be asked to work with a family again. I planned Sarah and Nico’s wedding. When Sarah’s twin sister Katie got engaged, I got a phone call from Katie’s parents and I was overjoyed to be reunited with them to work on planning Katie and Jonathon’s wedding.
It is winter here in New York and it has me thinking of my favourite winter wedding venues. There is something so cozy, intimate and festive about a winter wedding.
Wani and Oscar’s outdoor garden wedding was featured on Over the Moon! Read about the special details by clicking on the image below.
Rachel and Jared’s wedding gathered some of my favourite trusted wedding professionals, so when mother nature decided to send us some good luck rain, I walked into the day feeling very confident that we would create a spectacular celebration for them. Fourteen Forty created a one of a kind invitation suite that combined Rachel’s mom’s love of engraving and Rachel’s love of watercolour illustrations.
A little rain did not dampen the good spirits for Ariana and Dan’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns wedding! We had a rather cold April week, so we had been planning to be indoors anyway as the temperatures were hovering in the low to mid 50s. Our photographer Elena Wolfe knows Blue Hill at Stone Barns inside and out, so she knew all the good little covered nooks where we could keep Ariana and Dan relatively dry for portraits. She arranged for the first look in the manure shed, which is always setup so beautifully.
Andrea and Brett’s wedding day on April 1st started out a little rainy, but thankfully it cleared up in time for their arrival and portraits around the grounds with Dave Robbins Photography. Andrea was absolutely stunning in Danielle Frankel. A raised cowl neck, bias cut silk wool sleeveless gown with an open back and scarf draped accent. She carried a bouquet of white and green hellebores, which were exquisite in their simplicity. Brett work a boutonniere of lily of the valley.
Megan still remembers the first time that Jodie took her to Stone Barns in Tarrytown. They explored the farm and the adjoining state park. Jodie casually mentioned that if she ever got married, it would be at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. When she proposed, it was a no brainer for them to get married there. Megan and Jodie’s idea for the wedding was on the non-traditional side. The best way they described it was a wedding with all the boring parts taken out. They did not plan on having a ceremony and eloped in Central Park in August instead. They wanted to have an awesome party with their family and friends. None of the typical formality involved in weddings.
Angela and Utsarga had a double wedding weekend in early October. The invitation by Suite Paperie included 2 separate invitation cards for each celebration enclosed in a vellum wrap with some dramatic floral prints. I particularly liked the combination of fall inspired colours incorporated into the suite, especially the terracotta envelope with a toast velvet liner.
Due to covid, Randi and Evan decided to have an intimate wedding with family two years ago and planned a bigger party in 2022 at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. It was on their 2 year anniversary to the date. They named it a “We Do” Re-Do. Paperfinger illustrated their save the date with Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Katie Fischer Design created their invitation suite which had a painting of their dog Dipsea on the liner, which I absolutely adored. Since they already took a lot of wedding portraits in Randi’s wedding gown 2 years ago, she decided to wear a different dress for their portraits around Blue Hill at Stone Barns with Allan Zepeda.
That transition between the end of summer and early autumn is so beautiful. The bride wore a custom gown by Carol Hannah. The Lutosa ballgown with exposed boning and seamed bodice in a brushstroke organza jacquard, woven exclusively for Carol Hannah in Italy. She carried a bouquet with blush café au lait dahlias. The groom wore a pale grey suit and a boutonniere with seeded eucalyptus.
While having dinner at Blue Hill at Stone Barns with my husband, we thought it would be so nice to gather our loved ones to celebrate our 10 year anniversary there. That was supposed to be in 2020! Due to covid, we rescheduled twice and ended up celebrating our 12 year anniversary in 2022. Why not?! Thanks to the team at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and friends for making it such a beautiful, delicious and fun lunch in the main restaurant. Fourteen Forty designed the invitation, Poppies and Posies made the beautiful flowers (on a 92 degree day!), Blaire Band provided the music, Ink and Nibs painted and hand calligraphed the place cards, and Elena Wolfe captured it all so elegantly with these images.
They got married in the formal gardens in front of an arbor incorporating florals and the most beautiful smoke bush. Wani and Oscar had written their vows in both English and Chinese. During their first look Wani read and translated her Chinese vows to Oscar so he would know what they mean when she said them during the ceremony. It was a very personal and meaningful ceremony officiated by Rev Annie Lawrence, with music by Luminous Sounds.
Celebrating their wedding two years after their intimate ceremony with their loved ones at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Randi, Evan and their family sure know how to throw a good party! See more from our friend McKenzie Miller Films below.
I started working on Sarah and Nico’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns wedding in 2019. Unfortunately, COVID got in the way, so they had a micro wedding in her parent’s backyard on their original date and postponed the party to the following year. Who would have known we would need to reschedule another year ahead? During that time they were blessed with a beautiful baby daughter. It was with great joy that everyone came together in June 2022 to celebrate their marriage and the newest addition to the family!
Sara and Harrison lucked out with the most beautiful day at Blue Hill at Stone Barns. It was warm during the day in August, but when the sun went down it really cooled off, and most importantly no rain! The first introduction to the wedding was their save the date from Suite Paperie, which had a custom illustration of the entrance to the courtyard at Blue Hill at Stone Barns and their dog Josie. This was followed by their letterpressed invitation suite with delicate painted florals wrapped with an elegant ribbon.
