Ceremony: Many couples choose the Shade Garden or South Lawn to exchange vows. Dappled light filters through the trees in the Shade Garden making a truly intimate setting. For larger weddings, the South Lawn offers more space and an excellent option for a rain plan tent to be installed.
Cocktail Hour As evening falls, the Rose Garden makes a beautiful transition: guests mingle around the fountain admiring the rose bushes. Inside the Lodge, fires glow and conversation hums; outside, lounges and gardens invite exploration. The hallmark Valley Rock Inn experience is a full three-day celebration. Weekend weddings include two nights of accommodation for up to 42–48 guests across the property’s five guesthouses, along with access to the 75-foot pool, gym (complete with spin and yoga studios), and a variety of gardens and venues for each part of the weekend. From a Friday rehearsal dinner to a tented Saturday reception and a relaxed Sunday brunch by the pool.
For 2026, weekend packages start around $149,000 (off-peak, November–April, minimum 120 guests) and $168,000 (peak season, May–October, minimum 150 guests), inclusive of food, beverage, gratuity, taxes and fees.

When Danielle and Eric began their wedding venue search, we explored a range of options across Manhattan and Westchester. With an estimated guest count of 250, the right location needed to be spacious without losing a sense of intimacy. After touring a handful of top contenders, they walked into Valley Rock Inn and immediately felt at home. The property carried the charm of a summer camp, with its beautifully landscaped gardens, buildings, and tucked-away houses for overnight stays. Just an hour’s drive from Manhattan, it offered ease of access for their New York and Westchester guests while also creating the feeling of a true getaway. With more than forty rooms available on site, Danielle and Eric could invite their closest friends and family to stay, transforming the weekend into a destination celebration.

Guest enjoyed a cocktail reception in the lodge before moving on to a seated dinner at the L shaped terrace. We used long wooden tables with cross back chairs. Poppies and Posies created low lush floral arrangements in matte white ceramic vases in varying sizes along the table. These were interspersed with lanterns to cast a romantic glow that evening. Blaire Band provided the music and kept the party going! Nine Cakes provided the wedding cake with delicate deckled buttercream edges and sugar flowers inspired by the floral arrangements. For wedding favors, they had individually packaged Levain Cookies for guests to take home.
