I am over the moon to share that Ang Weddings and Events was named one of the best wedding planners in the U.S. by BRIDES magazine! What a honour to be on this list with many esteemed colleagues that I respect and admire. Thank you to Anna Price Olson and Lisa Gooder at BRIDES for their support. Thank you to my team Ashley, Taylor, Rose and Samantha, who help me run things so smoothly on wedding days. Thank you to the amazing venues and vendors that I collaborate with to make all that magic happen for our clients. Last by certainly not least thank you to my couples for entrusting this special day to me. I am feeling so grateful and this is the best way to end 2018 with!

BRIDES: A Lush Garden Wedding Overlooking the Hudson River

This was one of our favourite weddings at Wave Hill. There is nothing like spring in the gardens and working with Sarah and Arjun on their wedding was so much fun! I am absolutely delighted to see their wedding published in BRIDES! Click on the image below to read more about their sweet celebration.

Monet Inspired Harold Pratt House Wedding

I am dreaming of spring and all these lush Monet inspired florals that Quatre Coeur created for Lindsey and Alan's wedding at the Harold Pratt House.  This elegant townhouse built on the upper eastside in 1920 is one of my favourite venues for an intimate city wedding.  The old world charm and classic details were perfect for this couple that met at Princeton.

Lindsey looked absolutely stunning in a mermaid lace Ines di Santo gown and a cathedral length veil edged with lace.  She loved lilac and even though it isn't an easy flower for a bouquet given the need for water, Ruth from Quatre Coeur still made it happen!  I loved the magnificently lush arrangement she created for the escort table and the romantic garland winding its way up the staircase to the ballroom upstairs.

The cocktail reception took place in the library and Creative Edge designed these serving platters with a cloche covering old linen bound books in the center.  Lindsey and Alan brought their favourite ice cream to the wedding from The Bent Spoon and Creative Edge served these on miniature cones that were a late night hit!  Guests took home jars of jam made by Alan's mother from fruit from her own garden.  I often find with weddings that we have leftover favours at the end of the night, but not with this one!

Thank you to Charlie Juliet for capturing this classic and timeless wedding in the most beautiful way.

New York Magazine Weddings Winter 2018

When I started Ang Weddings and Events in 2011, one of the biggest reasons that our business took off is that New York Weddings picked us for their listing of New York Event Planners.  For a New York bride who has been reading NY magazine for years, the wedding issue becomes their bible when wedding planning.  I am always grateful for that start and the couples that have found us through the magazine.  Now I am so happy to be a contributor to their articles!  I am so pleased to have helped out with not one, but two articles in the Winter 2018 issue.  Planning a Wedding in Six Weeks and 15 New Wedding Reception Venues.  It is always a treat and still surreal to see my name in print in a major publication.  Thank you for including my tips!

Jewel Toned Rainbow Room Wedding

Rachel and Brian wanted a formal New York City wedding and found the perfect place at the iconic Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Plaza.  The stunning views of the city and the gorgeous art deco details in the historic venue made it a sure thing as soon as they saw the space.
