New York Public Library Wedding

There is nothing quite like a New York Public Library wedding.  The majestic building is simply breathtaking.  Marti looked a vision in a custom Ulla Maija Anna Maier gown holding a striking bouquet of only deep red peonies as she married Rod in the dramatic Astor Hall.  We used ghost chairs for the ceremony.  With beautiful lighting from Levy Lighting, it really let the room and architectural details shine.  The corridor was lined with glass globes filled with tea lights to lead guests to Celeste Bartos where they dined and danced under a starry night.  As a sweet ending to the warm summer evening, guests stopped by the Blue Marble ice cream cart on the steps of the Library on their way home.  Classic New York in the best possible way.  They had to move their wedding from Angel Orensanz after it was shut down for repairs (also when Ang Weddings and Events stepped into the picture).  Certainly a blessing in disguise when you end up with a wedding like this!
