Emily and Leon were married at an intimate ceremony at Fifty7 in the Four Seasons Hotel on a beautiful spring day in May. What really struck me about this couple was how loving and supportive they were of each other. When I met their families later on, it was clear who they had learned that from. It was truly a delight to work with such a sweet couple and I wish them so much happiness in years ahead. Thanks to McKenzie Miller for sharing this film of their day.
This ethereal film could not have captured Francesca and Kuba's magical day in a more perfect way. I can't stop grinning from ear to ear when I watch it. So much beauty and so much style. Thank you to Anna Davis Films for Christian Oth Studio.

I was just having lunch with a sweet bride who got married 2 months ago at The Plaza. After chatting about how much we both loved the video that McKenzie Miller artfully created, I realized it was high time I shared it on the blog. McKenzie's work is pure editing brilliance. The way she entwines the ceremony and speeches into the cinematography captures the day with such meaning and emotion. This wedding had so many great speeches that were inspiring, tender, funny and celebratory. I found out that the father of the groom ended up improvising much of his speech as other people had mentioned things that he had planned to say. I was surprised as his speech that night was so good! Watching this video had me all choked up. Make sure you watch it fullscreen to get a glimpse into this incredible night at The Plaza.

If you have never seen stop motion video, you have to watch this. One of the best I have seen by the incredibly talented Bayly & Moore. They came all the way over from New Zealand to shoot Cristina and Jason's wedding at The Foundry and we are so lucky they did. With luscious floral design by Poppies and Posies, it was such a delight working on this wedding! (Full screen is best for the video)

Another sweet film from Kiss the Bride Films for an adorable couple who were married at The Carltun this summer. They wrote their own ceremony vows, with the bride quoting from one of their favourite songs, Just Breathe. This is one of the reasons why I love film. The ability to capture those vows and speeches forever. Congratulations again to Amy and Mike!
