It has been a busy summer here at Ang Weddings and Events. I don't usually take three weddings in a row over three consecutive weekends. It is a lot of weekends away from my baby daughter. However given the opportunity to work with such lovely couples at The Plaza, The New York Public Library and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, it was impossible to say no. I am looking forward to sharing the professional photographs when they are ready. In the meantime, here are some sneak peeks of the weddings we just worked on, taken from my phone.
There were so many things I loved about this wedding at the New York Public Library. The ghost chairs in Astor Hall just blended away and let guests really marvel at their surroundings. Levy Lighting highlighted the architecture in Astor Hall and created a starry night in Celeste Bartos Forum. They brought in magnetic lights which stuck to the ceiling and did not have to use any rigging. Genius.
A sweet wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns rounded out our summer weddings. How adorable are these gold farm animals that the bride found on Etsy for the escort cards? We were all worried about the weather, but with umbrellas and rain boots in preparation for portraits, not a drop of rain fell that day.
I am off to Tuscany for two weeks of holiday bliss this weekend and doing some villa hopping. We are spending one week with family and one week with friends celebrating their 40th birthdays and their 10th wedding anniversary. I cannot wait. Hope you enjoy the rest of your summer!
