I always get excited working at The Bowery Hotel, with the warm exposed brick, dramatic amber chandeliers and romantic hanging ivy. It is such a unique venue, and Lisa and Brian knew it was where they wanted to get married as soon as they stepped into it.Lisa is from Dallas and Brian is from Long Island, so they wove a "Texan Weds Yankee" thread through their wedding. From the fun signs hanging from the backs of their seats, to the I "Heart" NY favours with a Texan twist. They had a lot of out of town guests, so they were treated to a short NY sightseeing tour on the bus from the Church to The Bowery Hotel. The dramatic long tables at The Bowery Hotel were covered in pillar candles, luscious roses and a romantic garland of greenery along their length.
It was one of those weddings where the speeches were so touching they almost had me in tears. A wedding where you could feel the love that all these people had for the special couple. Everything was captured beautifully by Dave Robbins.
