I had the pleasure of meeting Joan Coukos Todd, the founder of Chocolat Moderne at her chocolate workshop in the Flat Iron District. When I stepped into her space, the air was filled with an unbelievable aroma of chocolate. Joan exclusively uses Valrhona chocolate to create these rich and dark chocolates. I always like edible wedding favours, that guests can enjoy on their way home. I tried some traditional flavours like pistachio, along with more exotic ingredients like shiso leaf and jalapeno. All delicious. They are so beautiful and colours are completely customizable to your event. Chocolat Moderne offers simple white boxes which you can decorate with a ribbon in your wedding colours. To show off the beauty of the chocolates themselves, you could use a clear box. A dessert table filled with these creations would be a delight!
